YES! an iOS 12 – 12.4 jailbreak for A12 and A12X has been released. This includes the iPhone XS Max, XS, XR and 2018 iPad Pro models. We repeat, the iOS 12.4 jailbreak for A12 devices is finally available! Best of all, you can jailbreak A12without a computer. For all other devices, we recommend following our earlier tutorial (click or tap here). Today's release builds upon the aforementioned A7 – A11 iOS 12 – 12.4 unc0ver jailbreak utility. This means that you can now jailbreak A12 on iOS 12.0 – 12.1.2, iOS 12.1.3, iOS 12.1.4, iOS 12.2, and iOS 12.4! Unfortunately iOS 12.3.x is not supported; same goes for iOS 12.4.1. The latter of course being the firmware Apple released solely to patch this exact jailbreak! How to Jailbreak iOS 12.4 A12 NO Computer

Step 1:Visit the on-device app installer – tap here. Locate either Unc0ver (you may have to scroll down). Tap the big red " DOWNLOAD " button for unc0ver iOS 12.4. Next go to the home screen and you should see the jailbreak app installing in a blank space.

Step 2:Once installed, navigate to the Settings app. Tap General > Device Management, followed by tapping on the certificate under the "Enterprise App" title. Tap 'Trust', followed by 'Trust' again.

Step 3: Delete any pending OTA software updates your device may have attempted to auto install. This could be either iOS 12.4.1, iOS 13, or iOS 13.1. To do this, navigate to Settings > General > iPhone Storage (this is dynamic based on your device). Find the software update , tap it, followed by "Delete Update".

Step 4:Open the A12 Unc0ver iOS 12.4 app on your device and tap the jailbreak button. Tap ok to the prompt. Your device will respring. At this stage, the jailbreak iOS 12.4 process is complete!

Step 5:Add the following sources and install RocketBootstrap, PreferenceLoader, and Reprovision. The former two packages will install automatically as you download tweaks. They're also required to see your tweaks in Settings. See the above video tutorial for steps on how to use Reprovision.

NO Computer Jailbreak Downloads

In addition to jailbreaking on-device, you can also use a computer to sideload the app. Download either the unc0ver IPA and Cydia Impactor to do so.

Computer A12 Jailbreak Steps

The above video is our guide on how to sideload the jailbreak app using a computer. It was intended for A7 – A11, but it also works on A12.

Step 1: Connect your A12 device to your computer via USB. Launch iTunes and ensure the connection is trusted between the two. If it is, you will see your device in the program. If not, you'll need to go through the on-screen prompts on both devices.

Step 2:Quit iTunes. Open Cydia Impactor. If you're on Mac, you'll need to allow it inside of System Preferences. Ensure that Impactor recognizes your device.

Step 3:Download the latest unc0ver iOS 12.4 jailbreak IPA into the Cydia Impactor interface. Input your Apple ID and password. This information isn't collected, it's just passed through to Apple's signing servers. If you have two factor authentication (all new Apple IDs do), you'll need to create an "app-specific password". Use that when Impactor asks for your password.

Step 4: When the app is installed on your device, you'll need to trust it. Launch Settings tap General > Profiles & Device Management, followed by tapping on the certificate under the Apple ID. Tap 'Trust', followed by 'Trust' again.
